It is critical that service technicians are well trained when addressing clutch issues. They need to recognize if a clutch requires an adjustment or a part needs replacement. This course will cover a variety of symptoms and possible causes, as well as maintenance recommendations.

Understanding the systems, knowing the similarities and differences, and knowing the maintenance requirements are essential to proper service and successful repairs. This course will describe how many common systems operate and how to diagnose and service this component. Covering scan tool data and diagnostic trouble codes pertaining specifically to the electronic inputs and controls

This diagnostic course will deal exclusively with the electrical architecture used to control Ford electronically controlled transmissions used in light and medium duty trucks. The course will explain the control systems and electrical components used in the Ford transmission. The course will highlight the use of diagnostic trouble codes and symptom related complaints to diagnose Ford transmission concerns.
 
GM Transmisson Electrical Diagnosis (TP065) - 1 lesson
This diagnostic course will deal exclusively with the electrical architecture used to control GM transmissions that are used in light and medium duty trucks. The course will explain the control systems and electrical components used in the GM transmission. The course will highlight diagnostic trouble codes and symptom related complaints to diagnose GM transmission concerns.
 
Introduction to Automatic Transmissions (TP055) - 2 lessons
This course will introduce technicians to the automatic transmissions used in light duty trucks. This course will cover the hydraulic fundamentals required to diagnose and repair these assemblies. Torque converter construction and diagnosis will be covered, as well as pump construction and repair procedures.
 
Limited Slip and Locking Differentials (TP032) - 1 lesson
This course will cover the limited slip and locking rear differentials found on light and medium duty trucks. The course will cover the description, operation, diagnosis and repair of the clutch, cone, electrical and air cylinder types of rear differentials currently in use. The course will also cover differential gear tooth patterns and adjustments
